I qualified as a teacher in 2007 from Sheffield Hallam University gaining a PGCE specialising in Early Years. Prior to this I completed a BA (Hons) in History and Politics at Sheffield University.

Before starting university I taught English as a foreign language in Hong Kong, where I took the opportunity to travel around Asia, visiting much of China, Thailand, Australia, Malaysia and Cambodia. The highlight of my travels was a visit to the ancient temples of Angkor Wat in Cambodia.

When I’m not teaching I enjoy going swimming and to the gym, visiting friends and family, travelling and going to the cinema. I am looking forward to exploring Lincolnshire having just relocated from Morayshire and getting to know all the staff, pupils and parents at the Bythams.
