I have been teaching at the Bythams School since 1997. Before that I was a supply teacher here and at other schools in the area, and way back in the distant past I was the infants teacher at Castle Bytham School.

My own three children attended the Bythams, my daughter from its inception in 1988, and have all gone on to gain degrees from university since. My special subjects include music, French and history and I am also special educational needs co-ordinator for the whole school.

My own interests include listening to and playing classical music, reading (especially history books), gardening, walking in the hills and all kinds of wildlife. Now that my children are grown up, I love having them to stay over the holidays and visiting them in their respective countries!
