Parents Handbook: Absence
If your child is away please ring the school to let us know as soon as possible. The answer-phone is on 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
If you are not able to telephone, please follow up with a letter.
We realise that some parents need to take their children out of school for family holidays. Children are allowed a maximum of 10 days per year for this. Please ask for a Holiday Request Form from the office.
Any un-notified absences will be recorded as unauthorised and will appear as such on your child’s report.
