School Brochure: School Curriculum
Following the National Curriculum, the school is able to provide a wide range of activities but places greatest emphasis on making sure that all children are both literate and numerate, by the time they leave the school at age 11.
We always aim to match individual activity with each child’s personal capability, so that he or she can progress at a suitable rate. To help children take on more responsibility for their own motivation and development, we also encourage them to become involved in setting their own personal targets, identifying what they would like to achieve each term.
Swimming lessons – Children in KS2 receive swimming lessons in Stamford Leisure Pool, in the Autumn term, each year. Although the lessons are given free of charge, we do ask parents to make a small voluntary donation to help cover transportation costs. We also encourage a range of Extra Curricular Activities including:
|
Woodwind* |
Netball |

* A donation towards costs is appreciated |
