School Brochure: The School Day
The school day is designed to fit in with the necessary transport arrangements, to get children to and from school. For this reason the day starts at 08.45 and finishes at 15.10. An act of collective worship is held each day.
All children have a 20-minute break in the morning, the actual timing depends on activities they are doing. Children in class 1/2 also have a short break in the afternoon.
Lunch is from 11:50 – 13.00 for all Foundation/Key Stage 1 children and from 12.00-13.00 for Key Stage 2. Most children stay at school and either have a hot lunch (we are currently searching for another provider) or a packed lunch and are always supervised, if you wish you can collect your child to arrange a lunch at home.
