Welcome, since joining the school in September 2024, I have had the pleasure of leading the staff team at the Bythams’ Primary School, we believe in 'Learning for Life...Achieving together'. Our children dive into exciting, challenging, and creative activities that make their learning come alive. I feel incredibly fortunate to work with a team of dedicated, hardworking, and caring staff and governors who are committed to helping each child reach their full potential in a joyful and safe environment.

Teaching Assistant in KS1 – September 2025
The pay grade is as follows: G3/6 (£24027 pro rata) - G3/9 (£25183 pro rata) approx. £15,852 - £16,614 per annum, term-time only plus one week (training days x5 per year).
We are looking to appoint a calm, caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who will be able to offer excellent support in Key Stage 1. You will be working with a highly supportive, dedicated team
of teachers and teaching assistants. We are looking for a committed team player who is flexible,
positive, and has a hands-on approach to developing children’s learning.
The position is from 8.30am to 3.10pm, 5 days per week, based on 39 weeks per year. Working hours
would be a minimum of 25 hours per week, the option to take on Midday Supervisor duties are
available if interested.
The position is a temporary contract, but we foresee this to be a rolling contract dependant on pupil
numbers.
